After 3 incredible days spent in Ireland, we hoped on a ferry to head to Holyhead, Wales. The ferry was the largest and most amazing ferry I had ever been on!! Unfortunatly though, the ride was not all that wonderful... Due to the bad weather that hit Ireland and the UK last week, the water was high and the wind was strong! This caused our high speed boat to be very tippy. Just like the plane over, I heard many people throwing up. Luckily no one from our group got sick. To add on to the sickness, we had a pesky little girl sitting near us. She was crying and screaming the entire trip "but I want to see my doggy please please please" in a British accent. I love British accents, but I wanted I was so happy to get away from that one.
The owner of the Beach Hut, where we were spending the night, picked us up from the ferry and brought us to the bed and breakfast. It was an extremely cute place and we could tell that in the summer this place would be very busy with tourists and beach goers! We would love to come back when the nice weather comes. Right now it's winter though, so we were the only guests ha. We walked around the quaint city for a while until it began to downpour. So our evening in Wales was spend cuddled on a double bed with the five of is watching free willy. We thought a whale movie was only fitting being in Wales. It was a bummer that the weather kept us from really exploring the country, but it was still a lovely evening. I would love to come back.
Off to Coventry tomorrow!!!
