On our first full day in Dublin we woke up early to go for a run and enjoy a nice breakfast served by our hostel, Jacob's Inn. After getting ready for the day we joined in on a free walking tour around the city. Our tour guide was extremely funny and an amazing story teller. He brought us to many historical sites including the tallest statue in the world on O'Connel Street, the Liffy River, Christ Church, St. Patrick's Cathedral, St. Stephen's Green, the Dublin Castle, Trinity College, and many famous pubs. After ending the tour, we made our way to the Guinness Storehouse. During the tour we learned how to properly drink a pint of Guiness and earned a certification in pouring the perfect pint. We ended the tour by enjoying our perfectly poured pint on the rooftop terrace. After a long day of touring and drinking beer, we ended up at O'Shea's Pub for dinner. We then returned to our hostel to play some cards and get to bed early.
